Parade Details and Rules
The parade begins at 12:00 PM with members of the military, who will pause in front of the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts for the Presentation of Colors and the singing of the National Anthem.
Lineup begins at 9:00 AM sharp and closes at 11:00 AM. No late entries will be allowed.
Lineup is first-come, first in line. There is no place-holding.
No confetti or confetti cannons. Confetti creates lasting litter. Any float in violation will be held responsible for cleanup.
Nothing may be thrown into the crowd. Walkers may hand items out or gently toss them toward spectators' feet.
Animals and livestock are welcome to participate after all floats and before the Flathead Lake Lodge firetruck, which is last. Please notify organizers in advance so we can help provide a shady, safe waiting area. Walkers must clean up after animals.
Float judging will take place during lineup. Floats must be complete by 11:00 AM to be considered.
Unregistered floats or those arriving after 11:00 AM will not be permitted to participate.
