About Us

The Loon Lake 4-H Camp has been instrumental in providing youth with recreational and social growth opportunities for over 40 years. The property boasts a secluded environment where approximately 400 youth who attend the camp each summer engage in swimming, crafting, boating, basketball, archery, and so much more. The camp gives opportunities to so many kids throughout NW Montana that may not have access to this type of recreation without the 4-H. Loon Lake has a long history of providing youth with a safe and exciting place to learn and grow in our community.
The Loon Lake 4-H Camp is a facility owned and operated since 1967 by the Flathead 4-H Foundation, a 501c3 not for profit organization. Always taking inspiration from the 4-H motto “To Make the Best Better!”, the proceeds from your stay at camp are reinvested into the Foundation in order to offer low cost summer camp experiences to over 400 youth from throughout Western Montana each year as well as to improve and maintain the property for future 4-H campers to create lifelong memories!
