About Us

BLSC is a nonprofit organization and the oldest local women's service club. Its focus is to help identify and assist in meeting needs of the community through fundraising activities. All monies raised are donated within Bigfork and the greater Flathead Valley.

A new project for the club is Threads, a volunteer community resource for Bigfork High and Middle School students. Through a cooperative effort with the schools, homeless and/or students living at or below the poverty level are referred to the Threads ''store'' located in the Bigfork Community Center to select, free of charge, clothing and personal care items that have been donated by the Bigfork Community.

The club has a membership of fun, enthusiastic and involved women. The sole requirement to be a member is the desire to be of service to the community. New members are welcome!

Meetings are the first Monday of the month at 5 pm, September through June and are most often held at the Bigfork VFW.
