DESCRIPTION:2026 Bigfork 4th of July Parade ? Float Registration\n\nLine-up preference will be given to parade sponsor. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor\, please contact chamber@bigfork.org.\n\nRegistration Requirements:\n\n\n	\n	All floats must pre-register. If you plan to participate\, you must complete registration and review the parade rules and lineup procedures.\n	\n	\n	A registration fee is required for all entries to help cover the costs associated with organizing the parade.\n	\n	\n	Floats will be judged on Entertainment Value\, Originality\, Craftsmanship\, and Interpretation of the Theme\, along with a Classic Car category.\n	\n\n\nParade Policy:\n\nThe Bigfork 4th of July Parade is a non-partisan\, family-friendly event. To preserve the welcoming\, inclusive nature of our community celebration:\n\n\n	\n	Political candidates\, parties\, and issue-based advocacy groups will not be allowed to participate. This includes signage\, slogans\, literature\, or apparel that promote political agendas.\n	\n	\n	Parade organizers reserve the right to remove any float or individual that is deemed political\, offensive\, or inconsistent with the spirit of the event.\n	\n	\n	Please help us maintain the positive\, community-focused energy that makes this parade special for everyone.\n	\n\n\nWe are proud of where we live and are excited to invite the Flathead Valley to this celebration of America?s birthday!\n\n\nParade Details and Rules\n\n\n	\n	The parade begins at 12:00 PM with members of the military\, who will pause in front of the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts for the Presentation of Colors and the singing of the National Anthem.\n	\n	\n	Lineup begins at 9:00 AM sharp and closes at 11:00 AM. No late entries will be allowed.\n	\n	\n	Lineup is first-come\, first in line. There is no place-holding.\n	\n	\n	No confetti or confetti cannons. Confetti creates lasting litter. Any float in violation will be held responsible for cleanup.\n	\n	\n	Nothing may be thrown into the crowd. Walkers may hand items out or gently toss them toward spectators' feet.\n	\n	\n	Animals and livestock are welcome to participate after all floats and before the Flathead Lake Lodge firetruck\, which is last. Please notify organizers in advance so we can help provide a shady\, safe waiting area. Walkers must clean up after animals.\n	\n	\n	Float judging will take place during lineup. Floats must be complete by 11:00 AM to be considered.\n	\n	\n	Unregistered floats or those arriving after 11:00 AM will not be permitted to participate.

LOCATION:All parade participants will enter downtown Bigfork from Highway 83\, turning onto Bigfork Stage Road. From there\, follow Bigfork Stage Road into Bigfork. At end of road\, make a right onto Electric Avenue and continue through the Saddleloop neighborhood\, then make left onto Stage Ridge Road and proceed down Grand Drive towards the Firehouse to line up. The parade will begin at the Bigfork Fire Department and travel down Grand Drive\, turning right onto Electric Avenue as it makes its way through the heart of Bigfork. After the parade has passed through town\, all floats will exit Bigfork via Bridge Street\, cross the bridge\, and head out onto Highway 35 or 209.
