DESCRIPTION:'Tis the season to bundle up and join the Bigfork Holiday Parade of Lights!\n\nThis year's theme\, A Very Merry Grinch-mas: Grow Your Heart\, is inspired by the Bigfork Playhouse Children's Theatre's production of The Grinch and celebrates community spirit by encouraging everyone to support local businesses and non-profits.\n\nBigfork\, Montana's Christmas Village\, is where the holiday season truly comes alive. Mark your calendars for the first Saturday of December\, when the town glows with festive lights and joyful cheer.\n\nCome early to explore our charming Christmas Village shop locally\, enjoy a warm drink\, and admire the beautifully decorated storefronts brought to life by the hardworking Bigfork Elves. Stores will be open late\, so you can soak up the magic before the parade begins.\n\nThe Parade of Lights starts at 6:00 pm\, filling the streets with dazzling floats\, music\, and community spirit. The evening culminates with the arrival of Santa Claus at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts\, where he'll be available for photos until 8:00 pm. Then\, wrap up the night by catching the annual holiday performance of A Touch of Christmas at 7:30 pm.\n\nPlease note that roads will close at 5:30 pm for the safety of parade-goers.\n\nJoin us for an unforgettable evening of lights\, laughter\, and holiday warmth in the heart of Bigfork!\n\nParade Rules:\n\n\n	This is a non-partisan community event. The organizers reserve the right to remove any person or float deemed political or offensive.\n	Items may not be thrown from floats\, but walkers are welcome to hand out goodies or gently toss them towards spectators' feet.\n	Confetti is not allowed\, as it leaves a lasting mark on our village. Floats breaking this rule will be responsible for cleanup.\n	Parade lineup starts at 5:00 pm at the school bus parking area on Grand Avenue\, and the parade begins at 6:00 pm. Lineup is first-come\, first-served\, with no placeholders.\n	Animals and livestock are welcome at the end of the parade\, but please provide cleanup walkers.\n	Please do not include any Santas on your float as the parade ends with the official Santa arriving at the theater. \n\n\nJoin us for a night filled with lights\, joy\, and festive cheer as we celebrate Bigfork's Christmas spirit!
