Steeped in years of ranching and outfitting, Flathead Lake Lodge is a third generation family-owned and -operated guest ranch. We’re located in beautiful Northwest Montana and rest on the shores of pristine Flathead Lake. Founded in 1945 when our grandfather Les Averill returned from WWII and began the uphill task of taming this wild land, restoring the vacant lodges and hosting his first trusting guest, one thing has remained the same - we welcome our guests into our home and treat them with the warmest, most genuine western hospitality they will experience.
